Fall in a Jar (and on Your Salad)
If I had to pick one dressing to make all fall long, it would be this one. My Maple Dijon Vinaigrette is one of the most popular recipes on my site during the fall months.
And for good reason.
It’s sweet, tangy, cozy, and basically autumn in a jar. I’ve been making it for years, and honestly? I haven’t bought a bottle of salad dressing since.
It takes 5 minutes, uses pantry staples, and lasts in the fridge all week.
No weird ingredients. No waste. Just a simple, foolproof dressing that makes any fall salad feel a little more special.
Dress it Up, Foolproof Style
Now that we’re officially in salad dressing season (yes, that’s a thing), I figured I’d share a few more of my go-to homemade dressings.
Each one takes just a few minutes to make and tastes so much better than anything from the store.
Ready to break up with the bottled stuff?
- Recipe #1: Creamy, garlicky, and tangy. This one comes straight from the Mediterranean playbook. I love it on crisp romaine, but it also works great on grain bowls.
- Recipe #2: This is my go-to when I’m not sure what to toss with my salad. It works with everything from baby spinach to arugula to roasted veggies.
- Recipe #3: Sweet, tart, and just a little fancy. Shake it up in a mason jar and drizzle it over salads, wraps, or sandwiches. It gives anything a quick flavor boost.
I'm not sure about you, but I no longer buy my salad dressings from the store. Because let's face it, it is healthier and cheaper to make it at home.
And what I shared is just a few of the many recipes I have in my collection of dressings.
Feel free to check out all these recipes and hit reply if I can answer any questions.
